Hosted by Resources for Community DevelopmentRCD is hosting a grand opening celebration at 1701 MLK. Pyatok architecture + urban design and JF Fitzmaurice have worked with RCD to create and build 25 units that make a fabulous addition to this vibrant neighborhood. These one-bedroom apartments, plus a rooftop garden, community kitchen and meeting space, provide fully supportive housing for people who have been too long without a home of their own. Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf and Councilmember Lynette McElhaney will be among the program speakers.
